Oddments Mail Club
Oddments Mail Club
Be weird. Be whimsical. Stop and smell the roses.
We live in a world that moves very quickly. Art doesn't have to.
Merlin's Oddments Mail Club is an invitation to slow down for a little while — to put something beautiful on the wall, make something imperfect with your hands, write down a strange thought, or spend an afternoon coloring simply because you can.
There is something profoundly peaceful about making things for fun. Creativity can exist simply for the joy of it. So make something odd. Use the nice paper. Write in the margins. Color outside the lines.
Let your inner child run wild.

A little piece of art, delivered to your mailbox each month.
Oddments Mail Club is a monthly art subscription for lovers of illustration, traditional media, journaling, and the simple joy of receiving something made by an artist in the mail.
Each month explores a new theme through original artwork and a collection of creative activities to enjoy at your own pace.
Each monthly envelope includes:
✦ One 5 × 7 Art Print ✦
A high-quality print of an original, traditionally created illustration inspired by the month's theme.
✦ One 5 × 7 Coloring Page ✦
An original line-art illustration inspired by the month's artwork, printed on heavyweight matte paper and ready to make your own.
✦ A Letter from the Artist ✦
A little behind-the-scenes look at the month's theme, artwork, inspirations, and the ideas that went into creating it.
✦ Creative & Journaling Prompts ✦
A collection of prompts for drawing, writing, painting, journaling, or simply spending a little time being creative.
Themes wander through the whimsical, strange, nostalgic, natural, and occasionally macabre — from curious creatures and botanical studies to folklore, changing seasons, and beautiful things that are just a little bit unusual.
There is no right way to enjoy your mail. Color the illustration, fill a sketchbook with the prompts, frame the print, tuck everything into your journal, or simply add the artwork to your collection.
Every piece is designed and illustrated by Merlin and sent as physical mail — a small creative parcel to look forward to finding in your mailbox each month.
✦ When does my Oddment ship? ✦
Enrollment for each month's Oddment is open through the 20th. Mail is typically sent between the 22nd–26th. If you join after the 20th, your subscription begins with the following month's edition.
